Victoria Beckham has whisked her family away for Romeo’s 22nd birthday in Sin City, where she showed off her striking hair transformation, which fans have gone wild for
Victoria Beckham has shown off a gorgeous new hair cut while partying in Las Vegas for her son’s 22nd birthday.
The mum-of-four, 50, has whisked the family away to celebrate the special day for Romeo, who is David and Victoria’s second oldest child.
Sharing a snap of herself, Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David, in Sin City, the former Spice Girl rocks a shoulder length bob, replacing the much longer locks she used to have.
Captioning the snap in which she looks a lot like her alter ego Posh Spice, Victoria said: “Amazing weekend in Vegas celebrating @romeobeckham… We love you so so much!!! @davidbeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven x miss you @brooklynpeltzbeckham.”
Fans loved the family photo, but they were more interested in Victoria’s hair as many complimented the fashion designer on how much it suited her. One said: “Beautiful shot of you Victoria… digging your hair!!’ A second gushed: “Victoria you look AMAZING” while a a third replied: “Love your new haircut, Victoria! Beautiful pictures!”
The VB designer looked extremely elegant wearing a long, black strapless jumpsuit. Husband, David, also looked dapper sporting a peach silk shirt and trousers while Harper wore a Bruno Mars t-shirt and baggy jeans.
To celebrate Romeo’s big day, the Beckham gang headed out for dinner at Komodo in Vegas where Brentford footballer, Romeo, was presented with an enormous four tier cake from the family’s friend, David Grutman, after watching Bruno Mars perform.
The mortified 22-year-old covered his face with his hands when he clocked the cake, which was covered with family photos. AS Victoria filmed the moment on camera, she teased: “I’m not responsible for this cake fyi!”
After the success of her husband’s Beckham documentary, Victoria will appear in a mini-series about her life, produced by David’s company, Studio 99. However, in a shock twist, the singer-turned-fashion-designer has yet to ask any of her former bandmates to feature in the series. Sources close to Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner say they have been trying to get a Spice Girls documentary off the ground for at least six years.
Now, there are concerns their project could be delayed even longer due to Victoria’s other commitments. One insider told us: “The girls have been trying to get a deal going for several years, but it never could get over the line. Now Victoria has her own project about her own world, family and experiences. The question is, just how much will the project be about the Spice Girls, and who will be asked to contribute to that story?”
Mel B and Geri were the driving forces behind a deal with a major production company to “tell the girls’ full story in their words for the first, and possibly last, time”. Mel enlisted Hollywood super-agent Ari Emmanuel in a bid to bring the project to life. As far back as 2018, the band discussed plans for a “warts and all” documentary charting their meteoric rise to fame in 1996, demise in 2000 and comeback tour and Olympics farewell in 2012.
