Lauryn Goodman spoke about her affair with footballer, Kyle Walker, in an awkward interview on This Morning on Monday with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley

Lauryn Goodman has made a bombshell claim about Kyle Walker’s marriage to Annie.

The influencer, 33, spoke about her affair with the father of six, 34, in an awkward interview on This Morning on Monday with hosts, Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.

Lauryn, who shares son, Kairo, four, and daughter, Kinara, one, with Kyle, has been slammed over her relationship with the footballer, who is married to childhood sweetheart, Annie.

However, Lauryn says Kyle told her he wasn’t really married in a shocking statement on Instagram.

 Responding to a fan, who asked why the subject of the couple’s marriage never came up, she said: “It did. He “married” after Kairo, but told me it wasn’t true and wasn’t a real marriage and she [Annie] released it to the press for the public.”

Claiming she “genuinely believed” Kyle, Lauryn said she only realised he was married when she saw a copy of his marriage certificate, continuing: “I was so convinced by his version and knowing what he was like I genuinely believed him. So much so that the neighbour even sent me the marriage certificate to prove he was married by the time I was pregnant.”

In a tense exchange with Ben and Cat, Lauryn stressed she only wants the best for her children while admitting she currently has no relationship with Kyle. The Celebs Go Dating star was slated in July after losing her court battle with the footballer when a judge accused her of treating the dad-of-six like an “open-ended cheque book”.

Kyle claims Lauryn’s behaviour has made it “impossible” for him to have a relationship with Kairo and Kinara. However, responding to a fan on Instagram, the mum-of-two said: “Why don’t you say it’s amazing how he’s known you for so long and come back and was happy and yet claims “the mother’s behaviour”. This is why we’re at this point.”

After showing up late to the This Morning studio, Lauryn was asked if she’d had any regrets about her affair with the footballer, particularly as he is married to his childhood sweetheart, Annie. However, in a shock admission, the Celebs Go Dating star admitted she was in a “no man’s land”.

Lauryn said she would, one day, tell her children the truth about her relationship with Kyle, but admitted she was “navigating” each day. She said: “I’m currently in no man’s land with that at the moment, I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer for it.”

However, over on social media, many X users were appalled by Lauryn’s stance on the matter. “I wish I was interviewing Lauryn Goodman. She has no regrets! She’s set up for life!! I have no sympathy for this shallow woman!!”, one viewer fumed.

Another agreed, empathising with Kyle’s wife Annie. They said: “Poor Annie having to listen to this wench try and up her profile. Why give her airtime.” A third continued: “Lauren goodman on #ThisMorning nothing is private anyone. Smells of fame hungry.”
