TOWIE star Mario Falcone had fans laughing uncontrollably when his eyelid surgery made him almost unrecognizable: ‘Sounds like Mario but looks completely different!’

Mario Falcone stunned fans as he showed off the results of his recent cosmetic surgery on Monday.

The TOWIE star, 36, took to Instagram to detail his recent procedure on his eyelids which he underwent in June.

And fans had to do a double take as they claimed the reality TV star looked ‘completely different’.

Mario had surgery on his upper and lower eyelids, named upper and lower blepharoplasty.

As he gave fans a thorough Q&A of his procedure, fans were shocked at the star’s different looks.

In his comments, some fans wrote: ‘Sounds like Mario but you look so different’,

‘Wow- I would [100% emoji] said that this wasn’t you !!’, ‘Jez I was so confused you look so different’,

Earlier this year, Mario revealed that his biggest insecurity was his hooded eyes and said he has become self-aware of his looks.

Speaking on Instagram, he said: ‘My hooded eye lids have been something I have grown very conscious of over the past couple of years, I blame the kids [laughing emoji], very happy with the results so far! Big thank you to @dr.carlodebbas.

Blepharoplasty is cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids, which changes the look of hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags.

The surgery, which takes between 45 minutes and 2 and a half hours, sees cuts made along the eyelids’ natural lines and excess fat and skin removed.
